There are special considerations to buying a condominium.  In additiosn to the traditonal living room, kitchen, bed and bath you are also buying a piece of the condo corporation and you are assuming the liabilities as well as the assets of that corporation.

Quick December 2010 Calgary Alberta Market Statistics:

In December 2010 there were 320 condominium sales in Calgary selling at a median sale price of $258,500 with an average of 62 days on market.

Condominium sales ranged from the lowest price unit selling for $82,000 and the highest price condo sold for for $1,165,000.
